Gruul Down and still playing

Posted by Smith on January 15, 2008

So as we continue through the paces of raiding we’re actually progressing, crazy eh? The great thing is that we’re progressing normally. We’re pretty much finished with Karazhan, we only run it for alts and stuff twice a week. We have cleared Gruul’s on our second night.

Christmas was nice, but I’m back

Posted by Smith on January 10, 2008

Christmas was long and busy and I have really been incognito both on WoW and on the web. I had my entire family visit (4 sisters and their husbands and kids) it became a really full house. So Sorry that I haven’t posted up anything all at in a long time.

now for Character sheet, over Christmas I have only really been playing my horde alt because they’re not as time consuming as 70s to do anything. You probably don’t know about this alt because hes been under the radar and unimportant until now. He dinged 45 last night and has a nice panther for a pet. Hes a BE (of course), there are so many as of late.

Nightbane is Down and I’m Keeping Busy

Posted by Smith on December 14, 2007

Progress with my new guild has been exciting, we have 3 raid groups each week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The other week we downed Prince for the first time as you can see in my previous posts. Our raid group (Wednesday) has had good success, we have downed Nightbane and cleared all of Karazhan in 5 hours with the exception of Netherspite. We are trying our best to make sure one raid group isn’t progressing faster and leaving the others behind but Wednesdays group seems to be slipping ahead. I imagine we will be rotating spots around to make sure everyone has a fun time and doesn’t feel left out. One of our mages, Kiwifruit has been gearing up like crazy to be our mage tank for the Gruul fight and is really nervous.

Priest and hunter

Posted by Smith on October 1, 2007

I’m now currently level 62 because i’ve been a little busy for the weekend, anyways i’m still 500g away from my epic mount… then another 1,000g away from my flying… and on top of that… another 5,000g away from my nether drake. 6,500g is a long long way to go not to mention expenditures that i’ll have to make for repairs and reagents. I’ve been researching some strategies of how to get gold in large quantities quickly. The best class to solo instances and farm areas seems to be the hunter. My hunter is currently level 33 but doesn’t have any professions, should i go the route of two gathering professions, ie: mining, herbalism or go herbalism, alchemy? I’m really enjoying my priest and have decided that once i reach lvl 70 i’m going to continue questing in outlands. I’m told that all the quests together in all of outland total 7,000g so it should be enough. The big thing is when lvl 70 rolls around its easy to get distracted with PVP and raiding. However if you continue your gold farming till u receive your epic flying beautiful crazy flying bird thing faster, and you end up raiding or PVPing faster… in the end. The new area i’m in is called Zangarmarsh and is loaded full of hallucinogenic mushrooms that are 5 stories tall. here are some pics

The Big 60!

I have a shadow priest that i’ve been playing for a few weeks after i was finished with my 70 druid. I went from lvl 58 to 60 last night after only about 4 hours in Outlands! The perspective from another class gives me a fresh outlook on the game that has gotten me interested again. After playing my druid for 89days worth of playtime i was looking for something else. A druid emulates other classes, but it doesn’t do anything particularly great. Having a new class which is meant to do 2 things, dmg and healing is great! i don’t have to have a bag full of other sets in case my roll needs to be changed and i don’t have to learn sooo many different rolls. I’m enjoying my newish priest.
