The HD question= Plasma or LCD?
Posted by Smith on September 27, 2007

Today at 11:30, in the Future Shop on Burrard a forum/debate was held on the topic of optimum HD systems. Tod Maffin a national broadcaster and influential blogger hosted the event with Leo LaPorte and Amber MacArthur. The topic was high definition, plasma versus LCD. Leo was on the side of Plasma and Amber was with LCD. Over the course of one hour the two of them decided that Plasma has the richer color and instant speed but with the reflecting glass screen it should only be professionally installed (because its much heavier) in a darker room. LCD was decided as more bright, lighter, and easier to carry/move/install. The liquid crystals inside the display aren’t instant so the refresh rate is slower then the plasma which makes it suffer in the gaming department. Final verdict is that they both have their pros and cons, it really depends on their environments and what they’re being used for.

Reading article has become a monotonous job for many because of the repetitiveness of the content in most of the articles. But when i am reading this article on The HD question= Plasma or LCD?, do i still think that you have also presented stale content to your readers?
